Generals Assemble! The Closed Beta Has Begun

To the bridgehead, Generals, and ready yourselves for battle. The World of Tanks Generals Closed Beta Test commences today, March 2. Those players who have enlisted for Wargaming’s new free-to-play collectible card game can now put their skills to the test.

Available through web browsers, with versions for Android and iOS arriving in the future, World of Tanks Generals’ players can test the PvP mode and PvE training battles. They will master the game’s basics, build a number of decks, refine their strategy and unlock cards to suit their playstyle. Generals will also have the opportunity to offer their feedback to developers to help improve and enhance the gameplay experience.

The World of Tanks Generals Beta has over 200 unique cards available, divided into three factions: the USA, Germany and the USSR, which are further split into several types. There are a huge amount of cards and strategies at a General’s disposal, meaning that every fray is an intense skirmish of sudden strikes, tactical trickery and dynamic dueling. To seize victory in a game of wits, you must adapt to survive.

The game will utilize the unified Wargaming.net ID that provides instant access to other Wargaming titles, including World of Tanks, World of Tanks Blitz, World of Warplanes and World of Warships.
