Wargaming Sydney is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our team for a 2.5 month paid internship program starting from 4th December 2017 to 28th February 2018.

You will work alongside talented developers in a supportive and fun environment. This is a great opportunity for a Junior C++ Developer who is interested in gaining exposure in the games development industry.

What you will do:

We have 3 positions available in the Engine Team, the Graphics Team, and the Tools Team, respectively. Each of them will require you to perform the following:

  • Code, debug and support the existing engines, rendering or tools pipeline
  • Work on multiple technologies powering AAA games
  • Work with experienced developers from diverse backgrounds


  • 3 or more years of completed undergraduate study in the following or related disciplines:
    • computer science/software engineering
    • information technology
    • computer engineering/engineering
  • Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design
  • C/C++ knowledge and/or experience
  • Ability to work with existing development processes and codebase
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Great communication skills
  • A quick learner and team player
  • Keen interest in game development
