There's a Rumble in the City That Never Sleeps

The Wargaming.net League will be hosting the Finals of its Challenger Rumble in New York, and there’s loads more competitive gaming action to look forward to!

This year, you won’t have to sit twiddling your thumbs for the off-season to pass at the Wargaming.net League. We’re committed to bringing you cool competitive gaming events throughout the season. The next event you can tune into is the Challenger Rumble, which is a cross-regional tournament, letting the pro teams show us how World of Tanks combat is done. In it, these teams will be battling for their spot in the Champions Rumble, ready to duke it out to take the crown from current world champion Na’Vi.

So, who gets into the Challenger Rumble?

It’s the two top teams from Europe, North America, and the APAC region, who distinguish themselves during Season 1 Finals. These teams will then hop on a flight to the Big Apple for the finals that are taking place in The Altman Building, New York City, on November 19. If you find yourself in NY around that time, you can come and watch the event for free. Worry not, though, if you can’t make it, because we’ll have the Twitch stream waiting for you.

What are teams fighting for in the Challenger Rumble?

Those that take first and second place get themselves put on the list to compete in the Champions Rumble. Here, they’ll clash with other tank teams for a portion of the $200,000 USD prize pool.

Blitz Twister Cup

Another reason why the culmination of the Challenger Rumble is so special is that it’ll see the finals of Blitz Twister Cup. This is the first competition of its kind for World of Tanks Blitz, and a fantastic opportunity to discover a world champion and flex the game’s competitive muscle. Blitz Twister Cup will see the best team from each of the tournament’s four regions—EU, NA, APAC, and CIS.

Tune into the Season 1 Finals to see who’ll be making their way to the Challenger Rumble:

  • CIS October 9
  • APAC October 22
  • NA October 22
  • EU October 23
