Gamers have been waiting for this to happen all year: 365 days of preparation, and lots of patience. Europe’s biggest gaming convention is about to begin.
As usual, gamescom 2016 will take place at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. From August 17–21, our players will be able to visit us and discover our biggest booth so far: almost 1000 square meters! This year, our teams did a huge amount of work to bring an audacious plan to life: 7 products, 65 gaming stations, 16 consoles, and 16 tablets. In addition to that, there will be 5 PCs showcasing Master of Orion.
Where can you find the Wargaming Team? We’ll be in Hall 8, stand A030 & A043, so come and say hello!
Besides that, we’ll have an exclusive design for the photo zone. It will consist of a 3D printed Mark I tank, smashing through a wall. Plus, there will be a branded photo booth where visitors will be able to share their pictures on social media, or send them to themselves via email.
And when did anyone ever leave the event without a memorable souvenir from Wargaming? After a game session all visitors will be able to grab a goodie bag: a T-shirt, a bag, dog tags, a torpedo pen, and a bunch of codes.
At gamescom 2016, we’re back again with your favorite streamers. The likes of QuickyBaby (EN), gRuMM3I (DE), Riokat (DE) and SirNossi (DE) will be there to play some games and be your virtual ticket into the event. You can plan your schedule accordingly by visiting the portal. Don’t forget that you can interact with stream and let us know what you think.
And last but not least, our Wargaming Store will have its own merch booth. If you would like to buy you or someone you know something special, you will need to use a credit card.
If you can’t make it to gamescom but are in Cologne, then why not hang out with all of us and fans at the Wargaming Community Party? The party takes place on Friday, August 19, 20:00 CEST.
