Test the Might of New Japanese Vehicles in World of Tanks Update 9.10

The Japanese Tech Tree has a number of reinforcements from Tiers 2–10, all boasting some serious firepower. Take the Type 91, a Tier 3, is the first Japanese heavy tank in the game, which can really dole out the damage with its high damage-per-minute output. Through Tiers 6–9, tankers can expect more of the same: tough armor and powerful weaponry across the Tier 6 O-I, Tier 7 O-Ni, Tier 8 O-Ho, and Tier 9 Type 4 Heavy. At the end of line, commanders can discover the might of the Tier 10 Type 5 Heavy and storm the battlefield with its thick armor and a devastating 140 mm gun.

To ensure that players get the most historically accurate vehicles in World of Tanks, the developers collaborated with the Japanese company FineMolds to really bring these tanks to life. FineMolds provided a 3D tank model based on the O-I from a series of blueprints that were assumed lost, which served as the basis of the O-I Experimental. This collaboration has also brought a number of plastic models to players. They can now own the Type 1 Chi-He, Type 4 Chi-To, and the Type 5 Chi-Ri medium tanks.

Rampage event is now ready to bring players more ways to experience World of Tanks’ intense battles. Players can rent one of the three tanks to engage in the event: the AMX 50 B (D), the Object 140 (D) and the Т110Е5 (D), as well as use their vehicles that comply with the rules. Steel Hunt brings players three Tier 10 vehicles to challenge others in their campaign to score Victory Points by capturing flags and destroying enemy tanks. Domination returns, letting players harness their own Tier 8–10 vehicles in 10 minute skirmishes. They can destroy enemy tanks to earn Victory Points, as well as capturing flags and safely transporting them to select zones on the map.

Other improvements include map availability. As commanders ascend the Tiers, they will unlock more maps to play across. A new garage tutorial makes learning about World of Tanks easier than ever, useful for new players and those just wanted to brush up on their skills. A smaller game client lets players experience a streamlined version of World of Tanks.
