Save the Date: Wargaming.net League 2016 Grand Finals

Get ready to save the date in your calendar because the Wargaming.net League Grand Finals is on the horizon. When will the action take place? April 8–9. Where is the battlefield? Torwar Hall, Warsaw, Poland. What’s the prize pool? A cool $300,000. Who’s joining the fray? 12 of the World of Tanks eSports elite, from North America, Europe, CIS, and Asia—plus three wildcards—and one team from China, will be battling for the WGL’s crowning achievement.

The 2016 Grand Finals introduces the new Tier X format, meaning the pros will have the biggest and best tanks at their disposal to unleash some true mayhem. A maximum number of tier points—now 68—and an increased match time of 10 minutes will force teams to figure out a new plan of action.

Last year, the EXPO XXI arena in Warsaw welcomed over 15,000 fans to the venue, and there were more than 2.6 million unique online views. The champions of last year—HellRaisers—faced off against underdogs EL Gaming in a match that was not to be missed. Fans can bet that this year’s event will have its fair share of shocks and surprises as champions of World of Tanks eSports put their reputations on the line in the name of fame and glory.

The 2016 Grand Finals will be free to the public, with a variety of activities and exclusive prizing for attendees.
