Soviet Destroyers and German Cruisers Unleashed Today

World of Warships set sail a little over a month ago and has been attracting captains and commanders from all over the world, who’ve been busy battling for the high seas. Just last month we reminded players that two distinct classes of vessels were on their way: German cruisers and Soviet destroyers. From today, captains can now test their might in open waters.

German cruisers, such as Dresden and Hermelin, are quick vessels made for flanking opponents. They also sport great endurance (even better at higher tiers), along with solid armor and powerful guns.

The warships rushing through the waters for the Soviet Union include famed destroyers like Izyaslav, Gnevny and Tashkent. These vessels let players hang back and assume the role of sniper thanks to their awesome canons and great accuracy. When enemy fire starts to get a little too close for comfort, these destroyers can make a swift exit. Soviet destroyers’ strong anti-aircraft armament and rapid turret-rotation make them very effective at run-and-gun tactics, too.
