The Server Lead Architect will report to the Studio Director

What you will do:

  • Plan and build scalable backend systems for multiplayer games in Scala
  • Collaborate with programmers, artists and designers to determine the exact needs of the team
  • Implement good engineering practices and mentor others
  • Support growth and development both at an individual and team level

Who are you:

  • Experience with cloud platforms, especially Amazon Web Services
  • Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with deploying a cloud solution that has served a substantial number of users
  • Senior level programming experience

What can set you apart:

  • Solid grasp of functional programming
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in F2P mobile game development
  • Comfortable working in small teams and collaborating across product groups
