World of Warplanes Update 1.7 Cleared for Takeoff

Dust off your windbreaker and jump back in the cockpit with update 1.7 for World of Warplanes. New in this update are a branch of German ground attack planes, as well as two breathtaking levels for you to test your dogfighting skills across.

It’s time to crack open the hangar and take the new German branch for a spin, featuring iconic aircraft like the Junkers Ju.87G Stuka and prototypes like the Messerschmitt Me. 265. You’ll find that lower tiers feature more classic ground attack planes, while middle tier planes sport some impressive, major caliber weapons. In higher tiers, there’s a boost to speed, and you’ll discover that these aircraft are excellent, all purpose vehicles.

Also in update 1.7 are two new game locations, “Province” and “The Observatory”, available for tiers 5–10 to brawl over. In “Province”, players can soar through an Italian-themed warzone in the heart of spring. This level’s snaking valleys of canyons and plateaus dotted with several towns make an excellent battle arena. “The Observatory” drops players in a European-themed battleground during a harsh winter; there’re snowcapped mountain ranges and a wide canyon scarring the center of this epic map, providing a real challenge for even veteran pilots.

There’re also new sets of Daily Missions that have been added for captains to test their aerial prowess. These missions are divided into three difficulty levels, with different objectives and rewards. Unfinished Daily Missions will still be available for players the next day as well, giving an ample opportunity to reap their rewards.
