Job Overview

The Associate Live Operations Manager is a self-motivated individual whose main duties are the creation, execution, oversight and evaluation of Server Side Events and CRM Campaigns for multiple Wargaming titles. He/she will work on multiple projects under the guidance and assignment from department’s Live Operations Manager, and is capable of adapting to demanding and ever-changing tasks, as well as executing them under strict deadlines.

The Associate Live Operations Manager, Asia will report to Live Operations Manager, Asia.

What will you do?

  • Create compelling monetization, retention, and re-engagement plans across Wargaming titles to drive business growth; run highly measurable tests and experiments to prove the concept, and evangelize the success across the titles.

  • Plan, devise, coordinate and implement CRM campaigns in support of main game beats; monitor customers’ behavior and play patterns, collaborate effectively with community team to understand demand, and sentiment.

  • Responsible and main user of Player Relationship Management Platform (PRMP): real-time, event-based rule engine that interacts with players through in-game notifications, promotions, and web customization.

  • Refine the strategies and tactics necessary for the implementation and optimization of monetization tactics, including direct marketing and non-transactional revenue programs with the goal of maximizing revenue.

  • Work closely with the Analytics team to refine segmentation targeting, prepare revenue forecast and review sales performance; perform strategic analysis using all available sources of information to enhance strategic direction.

  • Report to the Live Operations Manager, and liaise with HQ and regional product/contents/arts team to ensure best practice sharing and offer consistency and collaboration.

  • Other duties that may be assigned by the Company and that would enter into the scope of the Employee’s qualifications.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Economics, Marketing or Statistics, or any other majors with strong analytical background.

  • Previous experience in CRM, project management, monetization, analytics or game design; Skills of working with Confluence, Jira or other Project management tools

  • World of Tanks player preferred; Working knowledge of SQL desired

  • What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Understanding of Free-to-play games

  • Deep expertise in process management and workflow optimization.

  • Strong knowledge of user segmentation and funnel.

  • Proficient with Excel or other analytical tools

  • Well organised, self-motivated and detail-oriented in managing various projects

  • Track record of effective communication and presentation skills both in-person and remote

  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain quality of detailed work while meeting competing and inflexible deadlines.
