Job Overview

Working closely with the regional Community Evangelists and the regional Producer, the Regional Community Lead oversees regional community planning and execution, ensures the smooth rollout of all global activities in APAC and ensures the voice of the player is properly represented at the global level. The Regional Community Lead will also have operational responsibility for Tanks.TV, leveraging the platform to provide the best content experience for players in Asia.

What will you do?

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Oversee regional community planning to understand the full picture of local activities

  • Co-ordinate the regional execution of global activities and the collection of feedback for said activities

  • Be the Point of Contact (POC) between APAC and the global team for community matters

  • Work with the Product team and Live Ops to identify and develop community focused metrics

  • Develop a new approach for reporting combining qualitative insights with data-driven analytics 

  • Monitor the Community Contributor Program and work with the product team to suggest improvements and maintain standards

  • Manage the launch and growth of the Tanks.TV platform, curating relevant content and maintaining the overall integrity of content being delivered to players

What are we looking for?

  • Relevant professional experience developing and actively contributing to online communities

  • Ability to think analytically, understand metrics and drive strategy accordingly

  • Hands on expertise in latest social media platforms, including visual, text, audio, video, and streaming content

  • Advanced written and verbal communications skills in English

  • Culturally sensitive across the APAC region

What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Excellent knowledge in World of Tanks as a player

  • Passionate about gaming and gaming culture

  • Adaptable to a dynamic constantly changing environment

  • Familiar with the Game Publishing industry and its structure and processes

  • Fore-sight in trend spotting/setting with strong gaming/IT/entertainment industry knowledge

  • Willing to be on camera and/or participate in livestreams

  • Willing to speak to individuals in person/personally

  • Understanding of eSports ecosystem is a plus

  • Business travel – Minimum once or twice a year for summits
