Web Designer (World of Warships)

Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for a Web Designer to work in World of Warships Web development team in our brand-new Belgrade office. The team is responsible for the development of services, sites, as well as technical solutions for game support. 

World of Warships is the best naval game around, letting you take the command of legendary warships from the period of the 20th century as you battle your way across the open sea with other players. The project is driven by a team of international developers who combine talent with their passion for video games, resulting in World of Warships being a favorite hobby for millions all around the globe with keeping its community ever-growing!

What will you do?

• Design, update and improve sections of the main game portal and in-game web services

• Design of promo pages (game events and promotions)

• Design of related web services and administrative pages

• Preparing layouts for different resolutions and devices

• Developing mock-ups and exploring ideas with the clients of features/products/services

• Tasking the 2D departments, video team, and writing team.

• Interaction with the development team and quality control of design implementation

• Analyzing finished products and interfaces

• Participation in cross-reviews of fellow designers' work

What are we looking for?

• Experience as a UX/UI designer for at least 3 years

• High level of skills in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator

• Ability to create and use UI libraries, complex components, and interactive prototypes

• Experience working both on complicated interfaces and promo-pages

• Ability to create adaptive layouts for all major resolutions from mobile to desktop devices

• Independence and the ability to take responsibility for decisions within the work on product design

• Advanced level of Russian, intermediate level of English

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Understanding of web design principles (HTML, CSS) and JavaScript capabilities to design animations and interactive effects

• Basic understanding and management skills

• Basic knowledge of Jira and Confluence
