Job Overview

Wargaming’s MS-1 studio is searching for an experienced Server Developer who is passionate about game development & loves Shooter genre.
MS-1 is the Wargaming development studio that creates outstanding games for mobile and portable platforms. The team’s portfolio includes World of Tanks Blitz, the award-winning cross-platform shooter with over 120 million downloads from all over the world.

The salary range for this position is 4500–5200 € (gross) per month.

Note that this salary range is valid for Lithuania, for other locations it might be different.

What will you do?

• Maintain and improve the existing functionality of the World of Tanks Blitz game server
• Integrate the World of Tanks Blitz game server with internal services of Wargaming
• Develop new gameplay and core features

What are we looking for?

• 2-3+ year of experience in commercial C++/Python development
• Excellent knowledge of classical algorithms, data structures and design patterns
• Knowledge of server technologies, network protocols and databases.
• Fluent English skills (B2 and higher)
• Systems thinking and a high degree of self-organization

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Experience in server development in multiplayer games and real-time modes
• Participation in projects for the development of high-load client-server applications for the full development cycle
• Introduction to mobile development
• Experience developing on stateful architecture
• Experience working with Redis Pub/Sub
• Experience to automate various routines
• Experience working with AWS
• Experience working with Asyncio.
