Localization Specialist, Korean

Job Overview

As a dedicated Localization Specialist, you will participate in the translation of game client and content for Wargaming.net.

Reports to

Localization & QA Manager, Korean & Japanese Languages 

What will you do?

• Responsible for localizing all the in-game assets including text, image, and audio.

• Localize, and/or edit collateral materials related to games.

• Review and fine-tune translated text by verifying the integrity of the text in the game

• Work closely with internal and external localization staff as well as related teams to help all projects meet deadlines with the finest quality

What are we looking for?

• 1+ years in translation industry

• Native level in Korean and fluent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills

• Advance level of skills in translating, editing, and proofreading

• Excellent Korean spelling and grammar

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Experience in game translation

• Bachelor’s degree major in English and literature

• Passion for games especially military genre

• Fundamental knowledge of game or software localization and localization tools
