Office Manager (Czech + English)
Job Overview
The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day office operations and facility management, ensuring teams are well supported and able to focus on creating great games. This role builds strong relationships with key stakeholders across both local and global teams, gaining a clear understanding of their needs and priorities.
Success in this position requires navigating a matrixed organization, working effectively across local and global structures as well as product groups and support functions. The Office Manager also plays an important role in fostering collaboration, teamwork, and a strong “One Company” culture within the workplace.

What will you do?
There are 5 groups of Activities which form the core of the role as follow:
- Keep WG Safe
- Ensure the security of people and facilities
- Maintain compliance with local laws, regulations, and office rules
- Enforce global health, safety, and security policies
- Be the face of Wargaming in Prague
- Act as the primary point of contact for local suppliers and service providers
- Welcome and support visitors, including reception coordination
- Partner with the Travel Team to support local transportation, hotels, restaurants, and visitor recommendations
- Managing the Workplace
- Serve as the main point of contact with the building manager, landlord, and neighboring tenants
- Under the delegation of the regional location Manager:
- plan and manage the Workplace and ensures proper utilization and maintenance of the facilities (Under the delegation of the regional location Manager)
- propose and coordinate workplace changes with local teams and the CFO team
- maintain and update the office space management tool twice per year, coordinating changes with IT
- regularly review space plans (room sizes, allocations, etc.) to ensure accuracy and proper assignment to teams
- Ensuring a friendly and efficient Workplace
- Build strong relationships with all on-site teams, including product groups and support functions
- Propose and implement employee-friendly office improvements
- Act as the local point of contact for planning and running employee events that support engagement and satisfaction
- Support onboarding of new Wargamers by coordinating local policies and processes in partnership with IT, Finance, and HR
- Budget Management (under the delegation of the Regional Location Manager)
- Manage the building lease, including coordinating terms and renewals with the CFO
- Own and manage the local office budget, including supplies, events, and local procurement
- Oversee office inventory, supplies, and incoming/outgoing postal and courier services
- Manage location and office cost centers
- Organize events in support of local management needs, ensuring delivery within approved budgets
What are we looking for?
- Office management, or workplace coordination background with direct people management experience.
- Proactive and persistent personality: someone who follows up, makes things happen, and is comfortable negotiating with suppliers and vendors.
- Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills: able to represent Wargaming with professionalism and build positive relationships with employees and external partners.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage invoices, purchase orders, budgets, and space planning.
- Health & Safety knowledge / compliance awareness: familiarity with H&S practices, office safety standards, or willingness to quickly learn them is required.
- Event planning mindset: enjoys and has experience organizing team gatherings and creating an engaging workplace environment.
- Languages: Native level Czech + Fluent English.
- International mindset: comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Passion for video games
- Previous experience in a matrix or international organization, working with both local and global stakeholders
- Familiarity with office management tools (space planning tools, ticketing systems, inventory tools, vendor portals, etc.)
- Basic understanding of procurement processes (vendor onboarding, contract handling, approvals)
Work mode
- Onsite (5 days per week)
- Typical working hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (with some room for flexibility)
- This role isn't eligible for relocation & immigration support
