Service Desk System Administrator
Job Overview
Wargaming Kyiv is a game development studio in Ukraine and a key member of the Wargaming global network. Our studio is home to talented and dedicated teams of game developers, artists, and designers. Now Kyiv IT department team is looking for a Service Desk System Administrator who will support our employees with day-to-day technical issues, prepare and maintain company devices, manage IT assets, and help administer access to internal tools and systems.
What will you do?
- Provide technical support and assistance to users.
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting of PCs, laptops, tablets, MFUs and other office equipment.
- Assist with software installation, configuration and troubleshooting (Autodesk, Adobe, JetBrains, Microsoft, etc.).
- Diagnostics, troubleshooting and maintenance of the office's local network, repair of network sockets, troubleshooting WI-FI connection and security cameras.
- Installation work in the office (cabling, installation of network sockets, etc.).
- Moving and completing workplaces of employees and meeting rooms with the necessary equipment.
- Compilation and maintenance of necessary documentation.
- Organize shipment and return of equipment via office driver, Nova Poshta, or other delivery services.
What are we looking for?
- Good level of communication skills, it is necessary to be able to explain, show, and teach the employee how to use the equipment or services.
- Knowledge of PC and laptop components, how they are assembled, maintained, and completed.
- Knowledge of Windows OS and MacOS at an advanced level. You must be able to troubleshoot Windows and MacOS, know common and up-to-date OS malfunctions, and be able to fix them.
- Experience of administration Active Directory and Group Policies.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting laptop-based work environments with the ability to perform hardware upgrades for laptops.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot Windows network services, such as setting up a LAN network, WI-FI, VPN client issues, working with remote desktops, and shared folders.
- Ability to troubleshoot common hardware and software issues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
- English level: Pre-Intermediate and higher.
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Ability to script/automation (Powershell or Python).
- Experience in Atlassian products (Jira and Confluence).
Work mode
- On-site during the probation period.
- Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office) after 3 months.
- This role is/isn't eligible for relocation & immigration support.
