Job Overview

Wargaming Belgrade is looking for a Senior Project Manager with GameDev experience and focus on Art to help drive the delivery of art production and visual features for World of Warships.

This role supports a live product and focuses on coordinating teams, managing timelines and dependencies, and improving how work is planned and delivered. It combines hands-on project management with a broader view on processes and collaboration, helping teams stay aligned and deliver consistently.

What will you do?

  • Owns delivery of production stream of 3D , UI and concept art, visual features and tech art group, including cross-functional initiatives

  • Coordinates execution across multiple teams or disciplines, ensuring that project goals, timelines, risks, quality expectations, and dependencies are clearly understood and managed

  • Identifies delivery risks, resource constraints, process gaps, and cross-team dependencies, and drives mitigation actions

  • Manages scope, timelines, priorities, and trade-offs within the approved project direction, escalating when decisions exceed the assigned mandate

  • Improves project planning, reporting, delivery routines, workflow effectiveness, and communication practices within the project area

  • Ensures stakeholders have clear visibility into project status, risks, dependencies, decisions, and expected outcomes

  • Supports planning, onboarding, coordination, and development of project team members within the assigned scope

  • Owns scheduling and roadmapping activities across multiple planning horizons, from sprint planning in collaboration with unit leads to annual feature and content roadmaps alongside department heads and stakeholders

  • Facilitates cross-department communication, resolves under-communication issues, manages cross-team dependencies, stakeholder delivery alignment, and helps address resource allocation conflicts

  • Supports financial planning activities related to project tooling, licenses, and operational needs

What are we looking for?

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in game development, with a strong focus on managing art delivery

  • Solid knowledge of project management practices, delivery planning, dependency tracking, risk management, and cross-functional coordination

  • Ability to own delivery of a significant project area or cross-functional initiative

  • Understanding of art production pipelines

  • Ability to manage complex priorities, schedules, dependencies, blockers, and delivery risks

  • Experience improving project workflows, planning routines, reporting, and communication practices

  • Ability to align stakeholders, manage expectations, and drive decisions within a defined scope

  • Strong analytical thinking, communication, ownership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to mentor less experienced project supervisors or coordinators and support project management capability within the team

  • Strong facilitation and communication skills with the ability to resolve dependency, alignment, and resource allocation challenges across teams.

  • Experience working with modern collaboration and project management tools, including Jira, Confluence, Miro, and AI/LLM-assisted workflows

  • Upper-intermediate (B2) level of Business English, sufficient for effective communication in cross-functional collaboration, meetings, documentation, and discussions
