What we did
Each day started out with a bang. There were 3 lucky draws a day, and the first one marked the beginning of each afternoon.

Some lucky con-goers walked away with exclusive Wargaming premiums and prizes from ASUS, Corsair, Plantronics, and Razer.

Throughout the event, visitors faced-off in 7v7 World of Tanks battles on PC, Xbox, and mobile.

The devs were kept busy with daily Q&A sessions for World of Warships and World of Tanks Blitz.
Pro Tank Commanders Batman and skuzzy were also streaming live at the event to show the crowds how to work around a battlefield like e-Sports champs.

World of Warships
This hot title made its debut in Australia during the event. The game was playable at the booth and event goers fought for domination on the high seas with legendary vessels.
The Event Tank's Backstory
The M3 Stuart was a light tank that was used extensively by the British in World War II. It had an engine that drew the air required through the crew compartment, providing a welcome air-conditioning effect in desert warfare. Tankers enjoyed the tanks so much the M3 Stuart was dubbed as "Honey".
Fast forward a few decades before the doors for PAX Australia 2014 were opened; an M3 Stuart was transported to the event on a WW2 trailer bed, unloaded, and driven carefully into the event space. When the place was bustling with activity, the machine became a hit with many visitors who posed for photos with this piece of history!
