Wargaming Enlists in Military Appreciation Month for North America

Wargaming is no stranger to charitable activities. We’re passionate about military history and do all we can to preserve it. There’s the Wargaming Education Center at the Tank Museum at Bovington and the ongoing sponsorship of the USS Iowa to name a few.

Wargaming America has hosted several events for various charities, including the World of Tanks Veterans Day Charity Drive and the Holiday Charity Livestream, amongst other initiatives. The latest in these is to celebrate National Military Appreciation Month.

To recognize and honor North American veterans and troops during National Military Appreciation Month (NMAM), Wargaming America has teamed up with top veteran organizations for the fourth year in a row.

Four non-profits have been chosen for the four weeks in May to receive proceeds from sales across Wargaming’s award-winning titles. World of Tanks, World of Warplanes, World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition, and World of Tanks Blitz will help raise funds for AMVETS, Wounded Warriors Canada, National Armor and Cavalry Heritage Foundation and Operation Supply Drop.

A volunteer-led organization formed by World War II veterans of the United States, AMVETS is one of America’s leading veteran service organizations with over 250,000 members. It assists veterans through the sponsorship of numerous programs that serve U.S. citizens and their country.
