Wargaming has launched a summer paid internship program for passionate individuals who are eager to learn and gain first-hand work experience working alongside some of the most talented people in the gaming industry. Apart from an opportunity to gain experience and knowledge, interns will be given the chance to convert the internship into a permanent job upon successful completion.
This summer, students can choose between 9 paid internship opportunities in the Czech Republic, Lithuania, and Cyprus. Applications are open from May 16 through June 13, and successful candidates will start their internship in July.

Quality Assurance Internship – Prague
As a Quality Assurance Intern, you‘ll learn the basic stages of game development, the role of QA for each of these stages, and the necessary skills for starting a career in game dev, software testing, and quality assurance. The QA department is one of Wargaming Prague’s biggest teams, consisting of three smaller teams: Gameplay Features QA, Art QA, and Automation QA.
This paid, part-time (20 hrs/wk) internship will last for 4 months from July 11 through November 11, 2022.

Software Engineering Internship – Prague
As a Software Development Intern, you’ll be mentored and guided every step of the way by experienced developers as you progress through various new in-game features. You’ll learn which tools, technologies, and processes we use when working on gameplay or front-end development and be given plenty of time to learn how to apply them on a daily basis. Your mentors will also provide instruction on basic to advanced programming techniques, with a strong emphasis on performance and memory optimization.
This paid, part-time (20 hrs/wk) internship lasts for 5 months from July 11 through December 11, 2022.

2D Art Internship – Prague
As a 2D Art Intern, you’ll work with the production team responsible for 2D content for World of Tanks. Under the supervision of your mentors, you’ll develop all the necessary skills to produce and deliver high-quality, game-ready assets. This is a great opportunity to improve your technical and artistic skills while delivering game assets and becoming a part of the World of Tanks’ family of artists.

Live Operations Internship – Prague
As a Live Operations Coordinator Intern, you’ll create, analyze, and optimize various in-game features and specials that engage users. Under the supervision of your mentors, you’ll work as a critical team member on World of Tanks-related projects, as well as other unreleased games, to solve emerging problems in a systematic, data-driven manner. This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on our games and our players.

UX Design Internship – Cyprus, Prague
As a UX Design Intern, you’ll take part in crafting amazing projects for future implementation. In addition to shaping the user experience of major games, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with other interns from various disciplines. Since players’ impressions are shaped by their user experience, you’ll know you’ve done well if players keep coming back to the game for more!

Technical Art Internship – Prague, Vilnius
During your internship, you‘ll get a basic understanding of graphic pipeline and physically-based rendering. As a Tech Art Intern, you‘ll learn ways to optimize content and spaces, and work with the engine to create basic models and textures. This year, we are offering two locations to enjoy learning and developing your skills - Prague and Vilnius

Social Media Internship – Prague
As a Social Media Intern, you will report to our Social Media Manager in Europe and provide support in running all things Social Media on our channels, as well as active cooperation with other teams to support the product publishing efforts in the region. You’ll have the chance to learn from industry experts in the fields of social media and asset creation (using the Adobe family of products and other tools).
