World of Tanks Update 9.12 is ready to roll out today in North America and Europe, shortly followed by Asia, Korea and China on November 19. In this latest addition to the game, commanders can find a new game mode—which adds an exclusive map—reworked, high definition vehicles and the very first PvE tutorial on PC.
If players believe they have mastered all that World of Tanks has to offer, then they can think again. With features like respawns, Garage Battles, tank repair stations and a Capture the Flag variant, those timeworn tactics won’t be of any use in this new game mode. To bolster this are “Artillery” and “Airstrike” attacks, capable of really bringing the pain. Commanders can test drive all these new elements in the war torn “Berlin” map. There is also a special season of Personal Battle Missions. If players earn top marks, they can earn the imposing Tier 10 T-22 sr. tank and unique medals.
28 high definition vehicles will also hit the battlefield in Update 9.12, plus an improved tank customization interface, which lets players buy and set camouflage, inscriptions and emblems. The British tank line has seen a changeup: the Tier 10 FV4202 medium tank has been replaced by the mighty Centurion Action X. Finally, a PvE tutorial arrives, giving players a chance to sharpen those skills.
