Program Manager (New Product)
Our MS-1 studio is looking for a Program Manager to work on a new game: an online shooter. The program manager will be part of a rapidly growing team, targeting the Western market and leveraging the strength of the Wargaming platform and portfolio. You will be part of the production and leadership team, focused on building regional and global programs to support the development, global launch, and live service of our game. This role is located in Vilnius, Lithuania.
MS-1 is the Wargaming development studio that creates outstanding games for mobile phones and other portable platforms. The team’s portfolio includes World of Tanks Blitz, the award-winning cross-platform shooter with over 120 million downloads worldwide. The MS-1 team is currently focused on creating new products using the Unreal Engine.
The studio team includes 250 professionals who have in-depth knowledge of player expectations. Spread across our offices in Minsk, Moscow, and Berlin are industry experts from all over the world—Singapore, Kazakhstan, the U.S.A., and other countries. Each one of them is a uniquely experienced professional who provides the team with in-depth knowledge of regional specifics of the gaming market.
What will you do?
Lead the alignment and execution of complex cross-functional programs such as the Wargaming platform. Lead Android and Apple Store go-to-market initiatives, and bring various team and cross-functional priorities together to ensure the smooth deployment and updates of our content.
Consistently evaluate and optimize programs to ensure their effectiveness in reaching their key metrics for success.
Leverage internal Wargaming teams and resources (e.g. Marketing, Consumer Insights, UX Lab, other Unreal-based teams and projects, etc.) to tap into their subject matter expertise and enable team to succeed.
Secure leadership buy-in and alignment across MS-1 and senior leadership in Cyprus.
Help improve the overall performance and impact of our product according to the goals of both MS-1 studio and Wargaming by designing and executing programs that help us achieve our strategic objectives.
Drive alignment across teams by clarifying goals, aligning resources, and simplifying operations. Help keep projects on track through management of the production team, ensure structured tracking and reporting, and constantly find ways to improve and evolve.
What are we looking for?
In-depth experience leading and operating in cross-functional game teams.
Apps and games industry experience, and passion for working with developers and helping them succeed.
Fluency with mobile apps and game development technologies, business models, and the evolving landscape.
Someone who will thrive in a fast-paced, fluid, and cross-studio development environment.
A strategic thinker who is able to solve complex problems, and who can develop, roadmap, and execute solutions with great attention to detail.
- The ability to speak and write in English is required. Excellent written and oral communication skills. The ability to represent and advocate complex business or technical concepts externally.
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- A clear understanding of the mobile, PC/console shooter market.
- Knowledge of Russian is beneficial
