Technical 3D Artist (World of Warships: Legends, Console and Mobile)

Job Overview

World of Warships: Legends team in Belgrade is looking for a Technical 3D Artist.

As a member of the World of Warships team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a talented and passionate group of professionals and make a meaningful impact on the direction and success of the game.

World of Warships: Legends game is a free-to-play naval action MMO that puts players in command of some of the most iconic ships in history. From agile destroyers to mighty battleships, players can choose from a variety of classes and nations as they battle it out on the high seas.

Our Art team is engaged in the creation and integration of various 3D content into the engine. We participate in the development of 5-7 different event projects a year, where everyone can show their best qualities as an artist.

What will you do?

• Creating of 3D content (environment, ships’ decore, guns and other)

• Content integration to graphic engine

• Design and implement FX in the engine

• Maintain content branches for testing

• Collaborate with Game Designers, QA Specialists, and Programmers

What are we looking for?

• Low-poly hard-surface modelling skills (mesh, UV-mapping, texturing)

• Practical skills of Maya/Blender, Photoshop, Substance Painter

• FX creation experience

• Familiarity with graphic engines

• Experience with version control systems

• English intermediate or higher

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Programming and scripting skills (С++, Python, MEL)

• Rigging, skinning and animation skills

• Experience with ZBrush (or other digital sculpting tools)

• Level design

• Good communication skills, due to close interaction with cross-functional teams

• Background in classical art

• Ability to accurately reproduce concepts and match visual styles

Work mode

Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)
