Tankers, get ready to mobilize because World of Tanks Update 1.9 is ready to roll out. Out now for Android and Apple devices, players can test out the might of the second German medium tank line.
Leading the pack is the Tier 10 Leopard 1, which was the main battle tank of the Federal Republic of Germany. The speed on this big cat can rival that of the Bat.-Châtillon 25 t, and it even has sharper turning. The Leopard 1 even has one of the most accurate guns in the game. Combine this with its decent depression and very good view range, it’s an elite hunter.
This new line will also let players command the Pz.Kpfw. III, a Tier 4. It’s considered one of the best choices for Junior Tank Companies. Very fast and with above-average frontal hull armor, it also has fantastic penetration—enough to penetrate a Tiger frontally!
Next up—available on Tiers 5 through 7—are the Pz.Kpfw. III/IV, VK 30.01 (D) and VK 30.02 (D). Like many tanks in the German line, the Pz.Kpfw. III/IV, VK 30.01 (D) and VK 30.02 (D) all have great acceleration and tops speeds. They are perfect for flanking enemies and zipping around the map, spotting and annoying your opponent.
The Tier 8 Indien-Panzer is a real gymnast, able to pick off a foe from almost any angle. Thanks to its narrow turret and good firing rate, it makes a solid sniping vehicle. If you find yourself in a spot of trouble, its above-average maneuverability can get you out of a tight spot.
At Tier 9, the Leopard PT A is no slouch. It’s a very mobile beast with high camouflage values. Throw its huge gun with high penetration into the fray, and you’ve got a vehicle able to bring the pain. The Leopard PT A is not a tank you want to underestimate.
