Finalists will be invited to take part in the Games Industry Law Summit, May 3–4, 2018 in Vilnius, Lithuania
The Wargaming Legal Challenge 2018 is a unique mock trial competition that lets law students and graduates to hone their legal skills and test their knowledge in the games industry.
This year’s case will address the legal side of game cloning, commercial mods and related problems. Participants will be able to meet top industry players and gain insights from legal professionals from all over the globe.
Registration closes on February 15, 2018. Teams are required to submit Memorandum for Claimant before March 1, 2018 and Memorandum for Respondent before April 1, 2018. Four teams with the highest score will be selected to take part in oral pleadings on May 2, 2018 in Vilnius, Lithuania. The pleadings will be held within the 4th Games Industry Law Summit.
The Games Industry Law Summit is an annual event that brings together high-profile professionals involved in various aspects of the game industry, from finance to legal. The gathering aims to forge relationships between the global gaming sphere and business communities.
