World of Tanks Wins at the 2017 Golden Joystick Awards

The game comes out on top in the Still Playing category.

World of Tanks has won its third Golden Joystick Award. Previously, the game took home Best MMO and Best Online Game in 2012 and 2013, respectively. After a break, World of Tanks has come home with most votes in the Still Playing category.

As competition in the 2017 awards was fiercer than ever and included immensely popular titles, the award has become a testament to the game’s ethos of crafting an experience, in close communication with the community, which continues to engage and excite.

Huge kudos go to our tankers for their love and support! We’re happy that our game still attracts an audience this massive,” said Wargaming CEO Victor Kislyi. “We keep on enhancing gameplay and visuals, so I hope World of Tanks will be enjoyed in another 8 years as much as it is now.

Moving forward, World of Tanks players can expect further enhancements and new content that takes their enjoyment of the game to new heights.
